Micah 6:8, “…do justice, love mercy and walk humbly.”

“I was born into a military family, and although I am a sixth generation Texan, I spent my first 14 years on military bases in 7 states and two foreign countries. When Jonette and I married 37 years ago, we envisioned, if possible, that our family would live and grow in one community, attend one church and attend one school district. I was hopeful my children would have friends and relationships that developed in the church nursery and elementary school which would continue through adulthood. Through the grace of God, family, friends and hard work, we have been able to live out that vision over the last 30 years in Tyler and Smith County. Through First Baptist Church, Little League, Little Dribblers, Grace Community School and the many friends who have come beside us, my family and law firm have thrived. We have decided that it is time for me to give back to this community we love in a direct way as judge of the County Court at Law 3. For the many of you I have not personally met, I look forward to meeting with you throughout the year on my campaign and working to earn your support. To those of you who have known us over the years, I appreciate your encouragement and continued support as this campaign unfolds.”
